There are three connection methods for PVC conveyor belt disconnection: belt buckle connection method, hot melt method, and cold bonding method.
1. Belt buckle connection method
When the belt buckle is connected, the strength of the conveyor belt will be reduced due to the reduction of the joint strength. Therefore, the belt buckle connection is only suitable for shorter conveyors or occasions where the conveyor is inconvenient to remove. The belt buckle is selected according to the thickness of the conveyor belt.
2. Hot melt method
The two ends of the conveyor belt are polished in layers, then the two ends are put together, and the heat gun is used for simple fixation. Put the assembled conveyor belt on the hot-melting equipment to heat and press for heat-fusion, the temperature is about 140°C, after the cloth layer reaches the holding time, stop heating and let it cool to room temperature naturally, then it can be normal after removing the conveyor belt used.
3. Cold bonding method
Cut and peel the conveyor belt into a ladder-like rough as required, clean the surface with propylene copper, and apply a mixture of SK313 and UT-R40 to the cut and peel layer. Both sides should be coated, and evenly hit with a flat-head hammer. To be true, apply the mixed liquid to the seam, apply pressure to equalize, and then use it after 24 hours.
The joint operation needs to consider the specific properties of the material, including loose density, material size, maximum lumpiness, material humidity, material abrasion, cohesion and friction coefficient. The throughput is all within consideration.
