1. Belt Installation and Positioning
Thread the conveyor belt from the feed rack, passing through the upper and lower mold bases, pressure rollers, and pressure rods in sequence, finally leading it out from the bottom of the equipment, ensuring that the path is unobstructed.
Adjust the material guide rod to the minimum position, keep both sides aligned in a straight line, tighten the conveyor belt and cut off the overlapping part, and use honeycomb tape to splice the two ends (ensure alignment without gaps).
2. Tensioning and Testing
Tighten the material guide rod with a screwdriver, manually check that the tension on both sides is even, and then start the machine to test whether the conveyor belt is running off-center.
When conveying at an incline, baffles and guide strips need to be installed, and a running test should be performed in advance.
Maintenance Points
1. Regular Inspection:
Adjust the tension (such as screw or weight device) to avoid excessive tension causing bearing wear.
Check the parallelism of the rollers (error ≤ 0.5mm/m) to prevent off-center running.
2. Cleaning and Maintenance:
The PVC belt surface needs to be regularly cleaned of residual materials, and the connections of the baffles and guide strips need to be reinforced.
Common Problem Solving
Off-center running: Prioritize adjusting the position of the idler roller or drive roller.
Wear repair: Replace locally damaged belt surfaces in a timely manner to avoid further damage.
