How To Repair The Partial Damage Of The Conveyor Belt

Due to the harsh conditions of use, the conveyor belt is likely to suffer some damage. In order not to expand the damage and meet the use to the greatest extent, some damage to the conveyor belt should be repaired.
Repair of Canvas Core Conveyor Belt
According to the damaged condition, choose the corresponding repair method according to the table below:

(1) Vulcanized board repair: cover glue, adhesive, canvas reinforcement layer (the same canvas as the main belt).
(2) Cold press vulcanization repair: cover rubber, filling rubber, buffer rubber, adhesive.
(3) Repair of cover glue damage
Repair steps: (1) Cut off the damaged cover glue; (2) Deal with the moisture in the repaired part; (3) Sand the part to be repaired; (4) Apply the adhesive to the repaired area and let it dry; ( 5) Put the buffer rubber; (6) Put the filling rubber (when cold press vulcanization); (7) Place the cover rubber; (8) If the cold press vulcanization conveyor belt can be used after 4 hours; (9) Repair the vulcanized plate; (10) Grind the surface of the repaired area to complete the repair.
