Light conveyor belt, the general selection of materials are PVC, PU, silica gel, PTFE, etc., the material itself is non-toxic and tasteless, can directly contact with the transport material. Some formulations have been changed to improve some performance.
Heavy conveyor belt, mainly made of rubber, with strong smell, easy to produce toxic gas, suitable for transporting ore and sand.
2. decorative pattern
Light conveyor belt has many patterns, including grass pattern, diamond pattern, word pattern, cloth pattern and check pattern. Different patterns are selected according to different transportation environment.
The pattern is less heavy, mainly herringbone pattern, grass pattern, planed pattern, suitable for rock blasting and other harsh environment.
3. thickness
There are many kinds of thickness of light conveyor belt, from the thinnest 0.1mm to the thickest 10 mm. Select the appropriate conveyor belt according to the size of the conveyor drum.
The thickness of heavy conveyor belt is generally over 7mm.
4.Applicable industries
Light conveyor belt is mainly used in the material conveying system of traditional industries such as food, beverage, medicine, chemical industry, printing, wood, textile, packaging, ceramic stone, electronics, instruments, tobacco, etc.
Heavy conveyor belt is mainly used in the conveying system with heavy materials and high strength requirements, such as mine, port, power plant, cement plant, steel plant, granary, etc.
