How to deal with treadmill belt slippage

Apr 27, 2021

(1) If the treadmill slips suddenly during exercise, there must be a very uncomfortable feeling. At this time, the running belt needs to be tightened. The two screws at the tail of the running board should also be tightened. Adjust 1/4 turn at a time.

(2) If the running belt is too tight, the friction will cause the running belt to become perm and soft. You need to add lubricant and loosen the running belt to the treadmill to make it moderately tight and easy to use.

(3) If tightening the running belt has no effect, first open the motor shield, step on the running belt lightly with your foot, and check whether the conveyor belt between the motor and the front roller stops rotating. If so, you need to turn the motor Pull the position away from the front roller, and then loosen the screws that fix the motor, but tighten the screws on the front side of the motor.
