3. Classified storage: PVC conveyor belts of different specifications and models should be stored in categories to avoid confusion. At the same time, avoid heavy objects on the conveyor belt to avoid deformation.
4. Packaging protection: If the conveyor belt is new, try to keep the original packaging to prevent dust, impurities and other pollution. If the original packaging is damaged, it can be repackaged with materials such as plastic film.
Maintenance methods
1. Regular cleaning: During use, regularly clean the dust, oil, debris, etc. on the conveyor belt. You can wipe it with a clean damp cloth and avoid using sharp tools to scratch the surface of the conveyor belt. For stubborn stains, you can use a mild detergent, but be sure to wipe it dry in time to prevent detergent residue from damaging the conveyor belt.
2. Check the wear and tear: Check the wear and tear of the conveyor belt regularly, especially the edges and the parts in contact with the roller. If there is severe local wear, it should be repaired or replaced in time to prevent the problem from further expansion.
3. Adjust the tension: The tension of the conveyor belt should be moderate during operation. Excessive tension can easily cause the conveyor belt to stretch, deform or even break, and too little tension will cause slippage. Adjust the tension regularly according to the operation of the conveyor belt.
4. Prevent mechanical damage: During installation and use, avoid contact between the conveyor belt and sharp objects to prevent scratches or cuts.
