1. Regular cleaning
The surface of the PU conveyor belt is prone to accumulation of dust, dirt and other debris, and should be cleaned regularly with a soft brush, compressed air or wet cloth.
After cleaning, wipe off the moisture to prevent the conveyor belt from getting wet.
If tar or paint adheres to the surface of the conveyor belt, use an appropriate amount of gasoline, paraffin or pure alcohol to wipe it, but avoid excessive solvent.
2. Check and adjust the tension
Check the tension of the conveyor belt regularly to ensure that it is in the appropriate range. Excessive or insufficient tension will affect the service life of the conveyor belt.
If the conveyor belt is found to be loose, the tensioning device should be adjusted in time.
3. Check the running status of the conveyor belt
Observe whether the conveyor belt deviates, slips or makes abnormal noise. If there is deviation, it can be corrected by adjusting the position of the roller or drum.
Check whether the conveyor belt joint is firm. If it is cracked or loose, it should be repaired or replaced in time.
4. Avoid chemical corrosion
PU conveyor belts should avoid contact with strong acids, strong alkalis, grease or other corrosive chemicals.
When storing, keep away from chemicals and store in a dry and clean environment.
5. Control the use environment
The operating temperature range of PU conveyor belts is -20℃ to 120℃, and extreme temperatures should be avoided.
Avoid exposing the conveyor belt to sunlight for a long time to prevent ultraviolet rays from accelerating material aging.
6. Repair local damage in time
If scratches, wear or other damage occurs on the surface of the conveyor belt, it should be repaired in time to prevent the damage from expanding.
7. Lubrication and maintenance
Regularly lubricate the rollers, rollers and other parts of the conveyor belt to reduce friction and wear.
Avoid applying lubricating oil on the surface of the conveyor belt to avoid affecting its performance.
8. Avoid overload operation
Avoid the conveyor belt from being overloaded for a long time to avoid accelerated wear.
