Daily maintenance of synchronous belts

Dec 23, 2024

1. Surface inspection of synchronous pulleys:
Regularly check whether there are bumps or jitters on the surface of synchronous pulleys. If jitter is found, the synchronous pulleys may need to be replaced.
2. Inspection of synchronous belts:
Regularly check the tightness of synchronous belts to ensure that the belts are not too tight or too loose to avoid affecting the rotation speed of synchronous pulleys or causing slippage.
3. Cleaning of synchronous pulley mounting holes:
Regularly check whether the synchronous pulley mounting holes are clean and free of impurities to prevent damage to the mounting holes.
4. Cleaning of synchronous belts:
Regularly clean the synchronous belts and transmission systems to remove dust, oil and other impurities accumulated on the surface and keep them clean and dry.
5. Lubrication of synchronous belts:
Use appropriate lubricants to lubricate synchronous belts and transmission wheels regularly to reduce friction and wear and improve transmission efficiency.
6. Adjustment of synchronous belt tension:
Regularly check and adjust the tension of synchronous belts to ensure that they are within the appropriate range. Too tight or too loose tension may affect the normal operation and service life of synchronous belts.
7. Replacement of synchronous belt:
Severely worn or faulty synchronous belts should be replaced in time. When replacing, the model and specification that match the original synchronous belt should be selected to ensure the normal operation of the transmission system.
8. Regular inspection:
Periodically conduct a comprehensive inspection of the synchronous belt and transmission system, including checking the wear of the transmission wheel, the tightness of the belt, the lubrication condition, etc., to promptly discover and solve potential problems.
9. Safety operating procedures:
Confirm that the installation position is correct, avoid bending of the synchronous belt, pay attention to lubrication (the synchronous belt does not require additional lubrication, and the use of lubricating oil or grease will cause damage and loss of the belt), and avoid arcing.
10. Storage conditions:
The synchronous belt should be stored in a dry, ventilated, light-proof place, avoiding direct sunlight and high temperature and high humidity environment. At the same time, it should also avoid contact with chemicals and sharp objects to avoid damage to the synchronous belt.
