I. Safety Pre-Operation
Slight Deviation: No need to stop the machine. Maintain low-speed, no-load operation and ensure safety precautions are in place throughout.
Severe Deviation: Immediately stop the machine and disconnect the power. Ensure the equipment is locked before proceeding to avoid being caught in the equipment and causing an accident.
II. Quick Adjustment Methods for Different Scenarios
1. Deviation at the Middle Idler Section: Move the idler on the side the belt is deviating to 1-2 cm forward in the direction of travel. Each adjustment should not exceed 3 cm. Continuously fine-tune 2-3 sets of idlers to gradually correct the deviation.
2. Deviation at the Head and Tail Rollers:
Head Roller: If the belt deviates to the right, move the right bearing seat forward; if it deviates to the left, move the left bearing seat forward. The tail roller adjustment direction is opposite to the head roller. Observe the operating status while adjusting.
3. Deviation at the Tensioner:
If the belt deviates to the left, simultaneously tighten the left tension screw; if it deviates to the right, tighten the right tension screw. Ensure simultaneous fine-tuning of tension on both sides to avoid excessive tension on one side.
4. Localized Fixed Point Misalignment
Clean the surface of the roller/idler at this location, check for misalignment of the conveyor belt joints, promptly remove any obstructions, and quickly eliminate uneven local stress.
III. Post-Adjustment Verification
Run the belt unloaded for 3 revolutions to confirm that it runs centered throughout the entire distance without deviation or abnormal friction. Then gradually load material to resume normal production.
