1. Daily inspection
Appearance inspection:
Inspect the conveyor belt surface for signs of wear, tear, deformation or damage, especially at the edges and joints.
Inspect the conveyor belt for material accumulation or residue and clean it up in time.
Operation status inspection:
Observe whether the conveyor belt slips, deviates or vibrates abnormally during operation.
Check the contact between the conveyor belt and the roller and idler to ensure good contact and no abnormal wear.
Cleaning:
Clean dust, dirt and residual materials on the surface of the conveyor belt to prevent material accumulation from causing the conveyor belt to slip or damage.
Clean debris on the idlers and rollers to ensure that they rotate flexibly and reduce wear.
2. Weekly inspection
Tension inspection:
Use the deflection method or the tensiometer method to check the tension of the conveyor belt to ensure that it is within a reasonable range.
If the tension is found to be insufficient or too tight, adjust the tensioning device in time.
Roller inspection:
Check whether the idler rotates flexibly and whether there are signs of jamming or damage.
Clean the debris on the surface of the roller to ensure its normal operation.
Drive unit inspection:
Check the operating status of the motor, reducer and drive roller to ensure there is no abnormal noise or vibration.
Check the surface of the drive roller for wear or damage and replace it if necessary.
3. Monthly inspection
Wear inspection:
Check the wear of the conveyor belt in detail, especially the high-load area and joints.
If the conveyor belt is found to be severely worn, replace it in time.
Lubrication maintenance:
Lubricate the drive unit (such as motor, reducer, bearing) and roller to ensure its normal operation and reduce wear.
Structural inspection:
Check whether the supporting structure of the conveyor belt (such as rollers, brackets) is loose or damaged to ensure its stability.
Check whether all connectors (such as bolts and nuts) are tight and tighten them if necessary.
4. Quarterly inspection
Comprehensive inspection:
Conduct a comprehensive inspection of the conveyor belt, including the surface, joints, rollers, drums and other components.
Check the tension and operating status of the conveyor belt to ensure that it can operate stably under various working conditions.
Replacement of parts:
According to the inspection results, replace worn conveyor belts, rollers, drums and other parts in time.
Replace aging seals and electrical components to ensure the safe operation of the equipment.
5. Annual inspection
Professional inspection:
Employ professional technicians to conduct comprehensive inspections of conveyor belts, including tension, wear, structural integrity, etc.
Use professional equipment (such as tension meters, wear detectors) for precise inspections.
Maintenance records:
Establish detailed maintenance records to record the content, time, replaced parts and other information of each inspection and maintenance.
Analyze maintenance records to find out potential problems in equipment operation and take preventive measures.
6. Safe operation
Power-off operation:
Before performing any maintenance or cleaning work, be sure to cut off the power supply to ensure that the equipment is in a stopped state.
Safety protection:
Ensure that the safety protection devices of the equipment (such as protective covers, emergency stop buttons) are in good condition to ensure the safety of operators.
7. Environmental control
Temperature and humidity:
Ensure that the temperature and humidity of the conveyor belt operating environment are within the appropriate range to avoid aging or damage of the conveyor belt due to environmental factors.
Chemical corrosion: If the conveyor belt is used to transport chemicals, make sure its material is resistant to chemical corrosion and check regularly for chemical leaks.
