How to test after replacing a PVC conveyor belt?

Nov 28, 2025

1. No-load test run: Start the equipment and run it without load for 5-10 minutes. Observe whether the belt is misaligned or makes any abnormal noises (such as friction or slippage).

Check whether the speed is uniform and ensure that there is no abnormal vibration in the transmission system.

2. Load test:

Load a small amount of simulated material (such as cleaning granules) and test whether the belt is stable under load, without deviation, slippage, or material falling.

Verify whether the tension is appropriate (usually 12% elongation).

3. Key inspection items:

Belt misalignment: Observe the gap between the belt edge and the guide rail at a 45° angle (1-2mm).

Joint strength: Check whether the heat-welded or mechanical connection is secure.

Abnormal noise: Continuous abnormal noise may require adjustment of the rollers or idlers.
