What are the common processing methods for PVC conveyor belts?

Sep 16, 2024

1. Adding skirts

Most ordinary conveyor belts are flat belts. When conveying bulk materials or granular materials, it is easy to scatter or leak materials. At this time, seamless skirts can be added on both sides of the PVC conveyor belt to prevent materials from scattering.

2. Adding baffles

Ordinary conveyor belts cannot meet the needs of climbing and lifting conveying. When conveying at a low angle, you can choose a patterned conveyor belt to increase the wear resistance and anti-skid performance of the conveyor belt to prevent materials from slipping. When the conveying angle is greater than 45 degrees, baffles can be added to the surface of the PVC conveyor belt to achieve 0-90 degree large angle conveying.

3. Adding guide strips

Ordinary conveyor belts are prone to deviation due to inaccurate cutting or high-speed operation. At this time, guide strips can be added to the back of the PVC conveyor belt to prevent the conveyor belt from serpentine deviation.

4. Punching

Punching holes in the PVC conveyor belt can increase the adsorption effect and prevent lightweight items such as paper from flying during the conveying process. In addition, punching holes in the conveyor belt can achieve drainage function, precise positioning function and installation of accessories, such as dumpling machine belts.

5. Add red glue

Adding red glue to the surface of PVC conveyor belt can improve the wear resistance of the conveyor belt and extend its durability, such as brick machine belt, metal sander belt, etc.

6. Add sponge

PVC conveyor belt with sponge can be used to soften and reduce the friction of the conveyor belt on objects, making objects easier to transport and reducing damage to objects during transportation. It can also be used to reduce noise and increase the service life of the conveyor belt.
